How a Virtual Open House Works
You will need to either download Zoom to your computer or have the Zoom app downloaded on your phone
Click the link a few minutes before the scheduled start time. If you haven’t used Zoom before, you will be prompted to either download Zoom to your computer or have the Zoom app downloaded on your phone. This free software.
Your camera and microphone will be turned off automatically – so you can watch, without being seen.
Although the virtual open house is scheduled for an hour, you can drop in anytime. The main walk through usually happens at the start of the open house.
Jolyn will start the virtual open house with a brief introduction to the property and welcoming guests. Within the first couple of minutes she will start a walk through on the property.
Following the walk through, you will have an opportunity to ask questions, ask for better views of a part of the home or request information privately. Jolyn will move all guests into the virtual waiting room. One by one, she will allow participants in to ask their questions or see more of the property privately. Jolyn can move throughout the home to where you’d like to see during this time.
How to ask questions
Once the walk through is done, Jolyn will move all guests into the virtual waiting room. She will work guest by guest to answer their questions privately. This way you can ensure no interruptions and ensure you get Jolyn’s full attention. You can also click on the CHAT icon on the bottom right, and type a question into the chat box at any time.
What if I miss the virtual open house?
The walk through portion is usually recorded and may be available for you to view. Please contact Jolyn for more information. If it is not available, Jolyn can work with you to schedule a time to view a property virtually or in person. Contact Jolyn for more information.
