This past week was Realtors Care Week – a national campaign that gets REALTORS into the community. This year I coordinated a bunch of colleagues from the Schmidt Realty Group Inc to join me to assist two senior based services in Edmonton.
On Monday we joined forces with Edmonton Meals on Wheels. We gathered together to get assigned our quadrants to meal deliveries. I delivered fantastic home made meals to a number of buildings. Each senior was so appreciative of the meal delivery and few minutes to chat.
On Friday, we prepared and served lunch to close to 150 seniors at Operation Friendship Senior Society. OFSS is a shelter and housing service for less fortunate adults over 55 in our community. Their need is great and they do tremendous work.
