Glastonbury is bounded on the west by Winterburn Road, on the east by the Anthony Henday Drive and on the north the Whitemud Freeway. The south boundary is 62 Avenue. Glastonbury is named after an English monastery that is associated with the legend of King Arthur and the location of the Holy Grail.

Glastonbury has great access to the Anthony Henday, Yellowhead Trail or Whitemud Freeway to easily get nearly anywhere in Edmonton. You are only a 7 minute drive away from West Edmonton Mall. There is an abundance of green space, with many trails around storm water ponds perfect for walking, biking or running. If you are looking for a walkout basement, many opportunities exist along storm water ponds. In the winter months there is an ice trail created for skating on with the family.

Glastonbury is a charming West Edmonton community that is ideal for those who want to enjoy an active life with easy access to West, Northwest or Southwest Edmonton. The neighborhood started really developing in 2000s. Nearly 2/3 of homes in this area are single family homes. Although you can find bungalows here, 2 storey homes are the common home in this community. About 1/3 of the properties are townhomes, low-rise apartments. Estate Homes can be found in West Parkland Estates in the west end of Glastonbury.
